Getting Started with Your OpenClaw Pro Server
Your OpenClaw Pro server is an AI-powered server with OpenClaw pre-installed and running. Unlike our other products, it requires no SSH access or technical knowledge — everything is managed through a secure web interface protected by two-factor authentication.
1. Accessing Your Server
Your OpenClaw Pro server is accessed entirely through your web browser. No SSH client is needed.
Your access details were sent in your welcome email:
- OpenClaw URL: shown in your welcome email and client area
- OpenClaw Password: shown in your welcome email
To access your server:
- Open your browser and go to your OpenClaw URL
- You will receive a one-time access code to your registered email address
- Enter the code to proceed
- Enter your OpenClaw Password to connect to your server
2. Security Features
Your server is protected by two layers of security:
- One-Time Password (OTP): Every time you open a new browser session, a unique code is sent to your email. This ensures only you can access your server.
- Inactivity Timeout: Your session automatically ends after 15 minutes of inactivity. You will need to re-authenticate with a new OTP code.
- Session Expiry: Closing your browser ends your session immediately.
Please keep your OpenClaw Password safe and do not share it with anyone.
3. Getting Started with OpenClaw
Once connected, you will see the OpenClaw Control UI dashboard. From here you can:
- Configure your LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, and others)
- Set up channels (Email, WhatsApp, Slack, and more)
- Create and manage AI agents
- Monitor usage and sessions
- Manage cron jobs and automation
4. Configuring Your LLM Provider
OpenClaw requires an LLM provider to function. To configure one:
- In the Control UI, go to Instances
- Select your instance and click Settings
- Navigate to Providers
- Enter your API key for your chosen provider (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Save and restart
